Jonathan Harris和一位斯坦福的教授，收集了人们博客上含有“I feel”字眼、描写自己的feeling的句子。他们发现：
- 年轻时，我们把兴奋看作是幸福；年老时，我们把幸福理解为平安。When people are young, they tend to associate happiness with excitement; when people get older, they tend to associate happiness with peacefulness.
- 女人比男人更感受到爱，也更常有自责感；男人比女人自我感觉更良好，但也却常感到孤单。Women feel love more often than man, but also more guilty; man feel good more often than man, but also more alone.
- 不管如何，人越老，更感觉幸福已经临到。When people are getting older, they tend to become happier.
(尽管这种研究取向在CS领域不算什么新鲜，但个人十分看好，这种方法在心理学里的运用。
